PÉ.©. ¥ÁoÀPÀgÀÄ G¥ÀAiÉÆ ÃV1PÉÆArgÀÄ aÀ oÀ ̧ÀÛ¥ÀæwUÀ1⁄4À «aÀgÀ: "(A) : A copy of the palm - leaf Ms. (containing I and II Parichchedas and 224 verses of the third). It is incomplete and inaccurate. It occasionally uses r3⁄4, the verses are not numbered. (B) : A copy of a palm - leaf Ms. It is incomplete and inaccurate. It never uses the letter r3⁄4, but contains frewer gaps thaan A. Unfortu- nately most of the mistakes in B are the same as those in A. (C) : A transcript of a Ms. deposited in the Govt. Oriental Library at Madras. This is decidedly superior to A. & B. but incomplete. It contains the first two parichchedas, and 193 verses of the third. The last 93 verses are multilated. 'C' contains two additional verses, one on the use of the Sanskrit prepositions and the other an illustration o Mu (Ma)lopame. But since they are corrupt and not found in A & B, I have omitted them from the text. The most corrupt portion of the work is that which contains 'dushkara kavyas'. The other parts of the work are fairly well preserved."
