ರಾಮಗೊಪಾಲ್ ೪೧ ರಾಮಗೋಪಾಲರು ಮಾನಾಕ್ಷಿ ಸುಂದರಂ ಪಿಳ್ಳೆಯವರಲ್ಲಿ ಅಧ್ಯಯನ ಮುಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಬರುವ ವೇಳೆಗೆ ಲಾಮೇರಿ ಎಂಬ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ದ ಅಮೇರಿಕೆಯ ನರ್ತಕಿ ಭಾರತ ಪರ್ಯಟನ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಳು. ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿಗೂ ಬಂದ ಆಕೆ ರಾಮಗೋಪಾಲರ ಕಲೆಯನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಮನಸೋತು ಅವರನ್ನು ೧೯೩೬ರಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಶ್ವ ಪರ್ಯಟನಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆದೊಯ್ದಳು, ಆಕೆಯ ಜತೆ ರಾಮಗೋಪಾಲರು ಲಂರ್ಡ, ಪ್ಯಾರಿ, ಹಾಲಿವುಡ್, ನಾರಾ, ಟೋಕಿಯೊ, ಹಾಂಗ್ ಕಾಂಗ್, ಬಟೇವಿಯಾ, ಹೊನಲೂಲು ಮೊದಲಾದ ಮಹಾನಗರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನೃತ್ಯ ಪ್ರದ ರ್ಶನ ಮಾಡಿ ಅದ್ಭುತ ಕೀರ್ತಿಗಳಿಸಿದರು. ಹಾಲಿವುಡ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಸಿಲ್ ಡಿ ಮಿಲ್ಸ್ ಮತ್ತು ಮಾಕ್ಸ್‌ ರ್ರೆಹಾರ್ ಅವರು ರಾಮಗೋಪಾಲರ ನೃತ್ಯ ನೋಡಿ ವಿಶೇಷ ಮೆಚ್ಚಿಗೆ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು. ಕಾರ್ ನಾನ್ ವಾಕ್ ಟನ್ ಎಂಬ ಅಮೇರಿಕೆಯ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧ ವಿಮರ್ಶಕ, ಗ್ರಂಥಕರ್ತರು ರಾಮಗೋಪಾಲರನ್ನು ವಷ್ಯದ ಪ್ರತಿಭಾವಂತ ನರ್ತಕ ನಿಜನ್ನಿಗೆ ಹೋಲಿಸಿದರು.* * * ರಾಮ ಗೋಪಾಲರು ಶಿವ, ಇಂದ್ರನ ಭೂಮಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನರ್ತಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರೆ ಆ ದೇವರು ಗಳೇ ಬಂದು ನರ್ತಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವರೇನೋ ಎಂದು ಭಾಸವಾಗುತ್ತಿತ್ತು. ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ರಾಮಗೋಪಾಲರು ನಿತ್ಯಜೀವನದ ಅಸತ್ಯಗಳಿಂದ ಮೇಲಕ್ಕೆತ್ತಿ ಅನುಭಾವದ ಕನಸುಗಳ ಸತ್ಯ ಪ್ರಪಂಚಕ್ಕೆ ಒಯ್ಯುತ್ತಾರೆ” ಎಂದು ವಾನ್ ನಾಕ್ ಟನ್ ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
