The affix is added to nouns of quality, after cutting off the final syllable, and also occasionally the vowel or syllable that precedes it; as wçuy whiteness, for redness. VERBAL Nouns. The afiix cupy is added to the roots of verbs, to denote a person who is constantly engaged in a certain action; as eo au fury a timid person, or one that is constantly fearing, evo w sUp a gamester, Eu qurupy a reader. The affix ng is added to the root ernay, to denote the cater of a thing, and the consonant me of the final syllable is also omitted ; as ea tao mo an eater of umbrosial food, word an eater of air, or a serpent. The affix nz is also added to the root f ou kill, to denote the killer of a thing, and the root is changed into tung; as aus aura a fish killer, e0736 an elephant killer.
